On July 11 2024, a devastating wildfire destroyed our precious Main Lodge, marking one of the most challenging moments in Wide Horizons Mountain Retreat’s history. Since then, our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to restore and maintain the retreat, ensuring that our guests continue to experience the peace, beauty, and hospitality that define us. Their commitment has been nothing short of inspiring – keeping the grounds and facilities well maintained, managing daily operations, and going above and beyond to create a welcoming and relaxing stay for every guest. Even in the face of adversity, they have remained steadfast in doing their best to deliver exceptional service, striving to ensure that every visitor feels not just comfortable and cared for, but truly at home
