Nick named the “Romantic Camp”, this stylish cottage is perfect for couples. Tucked away 100m from the Main Lodge it offers complete privacy and stunning sunset views. It's a great place to chill and gear down. Aloe Camp has a separate covered kitchen including a refrigerator, sink and gas stove / oven. The outside private braai area is great for cooking too. There is a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom which includes a large corner bath, great to relax and unwind.

Nestled in the serene surroundings of Wide Horizons, Impala Cottage is the first unit to be lovingly upgraded after the wildfire that devastated our Main Lodge in July 2024. This newly renovated cottage embodies our resilience, offering a peaceful retreat near the forest and hiking trails. Once a carpet weaving workshop and later an adventure center, Impala Cottage now provides cozy lodging for small groups or families, blending modern amenities with its rich history. With 2 (or 3) bedrooms, a full kitchen, and inviting spaces, it’s the perfect choice for a restful, self-catering getaway.

This is our largest cottage at Wide Horizons, with 2 stories to sleep up to 5 guests. The upstairs loft offers a unique sleeping option with privacy. The downstairs sleeps additional guests in single beds. The cottage has a full kitchen including a refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, oven and sink. The bathroom includes a bath / shower combination.
