The Adventure Centre offers residential accommodation for groups in dormitories with bunk beds sleeping up to 24 people plus a next door cottage sleeping up to 6 people. Birth place of the famous Rosecraft weaving business the Centre is at the start of the sculpture trail and adventure obstacle course. It has an open plan kitchen and dining area, lounge, outdoor dining and lovely big braai place.
ACCOMMODATION & MEALS
Wide Horizons Adventure Centre is 150 meters from the main lodge on the slopes of Makhungutsha mountain at the start of the sculpture trail and wilderness obstacle course. It is situated within the Wide Horizons conservation area, offering 200 hectares to explore! Three large dorms accommodate up to 30 in bunk beds and our house mother stays within the centre. Up to 30 extra campers can be accommodated in tents. Mattresses are provided, but adventurers will need to bring their own pillows & sleeping bags. There is accommodation at the main lodge for teachers and guardians (booking is essential). Three nutritious meals a day are served at the Adventure Centre, with a mid morning and mid afternoon snack.
