Calling all young adventurers! We have some exciting activities lined up for you in the wilderness of Eswatini (Swaziland)! We focus on having FUN, making friends, learning and exercise without even knowing it. Wide Horizons is the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature and learn about wildlife while exploring our sculpture trail, wilderness obstacle course and taking part in our adventure team-building activities all inside our conservation area. Our Adventure Centre caters for school groups and youth groups and is a great venue for outdoor adventure and learning. Our Team Leaders are dynamic and compassionate and simply love sharing the wonders & creativity of nature with the Youth.
The Adventure Centre is the old Rosecraft hand weaving workshop and cottage and is run in collaboration with All Out Africa bringing 15 years of experience and success with providing educational adventure experiences for school and university groups from around the world in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
SCHOOL GROUPS (CUSTOMISED CAMPS)
Join us as a class or school group for a few days packed full of team-building activities, outdoor adventures and experiential learning in the wilds of Eswatini. Let us put together an itinerary to suite your needs with careful attention to detail and 15 years of experience with handling international youth groups in the Kingdom.
3 DAY ADVENTURE CAMP - TYPICAL SCHEDULE
DAY 1 Pick up at the All Out Africa offices at Roki Centre in the Ezulwini Valley (next to Lidwala Lodge) and depart for Wide Horizons. The adventure begins with introductory activities and a nature walk to the Giant Owl Rock to watch the sun go down! End the day with African folk tales around the campfire or an outdoor movie under the stars before a good nights' sleep.
DAY 2 Spend the morning exploring and learning about wildlife looking for birds and antelope and learning about tracks, droppings and medicinal plants. After a hearty breakfast and being arranged into teams, test yourself on the Amazing Race through our natural obstacle course including the Giant Crack, Sculpture Trail, Wall of Rock, Sticky Mud Crawl, Wobbly Pole Walk and others. Visit our Dam for some fishing and paddling and a picnic lunch. Then join in a series of team-building and adventure games. Dinner will be served by the campfire for an evening of roasting marshmallows and storytelling under the stars.
DAY 3 Morning adventure and fear factor activities followed by an awards and reflection ceremony and wrap up with a "well done" to all our junior adventurers! Depart for the All Out Africa offices at Roki Centre to meet parents!
